Shindo Falls

Shindo Falls (震動の滝) is one of the 100 best Japanese Waterfalls located in Oita. There are male falls and female falls. Male Falls is about 83m tall. Female Falls is about 93m talls. Shindo means earthquake. It makes a huge shake on the ground.

There is parking and restroom.
Admission: 500 yen for adult. 200 yen for kids.
There is a group discount.
Time:
8:30 to 16:30 (Jan. to Jun.)
8:30 to 17:30 (Jul. to Oct.)

Access
1. at Beppu Station.
2. Use Kamenoi Bus to Yufuin.
3. Use local bus to Kokonoeyumeoohashi.

Odaki: 83m talls.
Medaki: 93m talls.

The amount of water is so large that make a great shake. That's why it is called Shindo.
