Nagasaki Confucian Mausoleum

Nagasaki Confucian Mausoleum (長崎孔子廟) is located in Nagasaki city, Nagasaki Prefecture. It was built in 1893 by Chinese-Japanese and Qing Dynasty. This is the only Confucian Mausoleum built with the true Chinese Style Design. This is mausoleum is as beautiful as the main Mausoleum in China. You can see all kinds of Chinese art, culture and designs in this building. There is also Chinese history museum at back side.

There is no parking.
There is restroom.
Admission: 600 yen for adult, 400 yen for highschool, 300 yen for junior and under.
No photo inside of the museum.
Time: 8:30 to 17:30 (last entroy is 17:00)

Access
0. at Nagasaki Station.
1. use the Street Train No.1 to Tsukimachi.
2. change the train to No.5 to Oura Tenshudo Shita.

Nagasaki Confucian Mausoleum
Nagasaki Confucian Mausoleum and Chinese History Museum is one of the popular tourist spot in Nagasaki. It is the only real Chinese Style Confucian Mausoleum ever built out of China by Qing Dynasty. It was constructed in 1893. It contains all the architecture, design and cultures from China.

Lion Statues - donated by China.
The Statues of 72 Students of Confucius.
Taiseiden - the main shrine with Confucius Statue. It survived from Atomic Bomb. It tells the history of Confucianism.
