Wood Making at Kiso (木曽町木工体験) is one of the great family activities and experiencing Japanese local craft works. Kiso is famous for its wood industry. At Furusato Taikenkan, you can enjoy a great wood making crafts. You can make your own chop-sticks, name plate and more with nice wood of cedar or cypress that has a great taste of smell.

Furusato Taikenkan is a folk craft experiencing museum located in Kiso, Nagano Prefecture. There are many folk crafts that you can experience. Making Soba and Wood craft works are main experiencing in here. Soba is very tasty when you make it from the powder. You can also try Sasamaki roll, Mochi and many other local foods of Kiso.
