Mashiko Ceramics Bazaar (益子陶器市) is the largest pottery open market happens during Golden Week and November at Mashiko, Tochigi Prefecture. There are over 500 shops that sale their unique pottery in a great deal. You can also talk to each artists for their works. You can buy all kinds of ceramics from the traditional pottery to unique and modern design arts, and daily use dishes, cups and others.

There are parking and restroom.
Season: April 29 to around May 5, and around November.
There are shuttle buses from Utsunomiya Station and Akihabara Station.

0. at Utsunomiya Station.
1. use local bus 123 to Mashiko (60 min.)
2. walk (20 min.)
There are circling town buses.
There are food stands during the festival.

Mashiko Ceramics Bazaar
Mashiko Pottery Festival is the largest pottery bazaar happens at Mashiko Town, Tochigi Prefecture. Mashiko is famous Pottery Town. This festival happens around Golden Week and Nov 3. At the main street of Mashiko, there are about 50 stores from all Mashiko and all over Japan that open their special shops during the festival.

They will sale special design just for this festival in a great deal.
