Maiko Snow Resort (舞子スノーリゾート) is one of the largest ski resort in Japan. It is located in Ishiori, Niigata Prefecture where it has great access from Tokyo. There are 26 courses and the longest course is 6km long. It contains 3 ski zones and each zone has different features that every can enjoy. There are a hotel and Onsen that both day trip and over night travelers can enjoy. It has many course styles, such as half-pipe, jump, mogul and expert slopes.

Season: From the middle of December to the beginning of April.
Time: 8:00 to 16:00 (16:00 to 20:00 nighter)

Nigther - 500 JPY
There are ski & Snowboad gear rental and school. 4200 JPY

Maiko Snow Resort
Maiko Snow Resort is one of the greatest ski resort located in Minami Uonuma, Niigata Prefecture. It is conveniently located near Tokyo. The access is very easy. There are 26 different courses and the longest course is about 6km long. Because of the large variety of the courses, all the levels from the beginners to super expert can enjoy. Especially, Okusoechi has many great courses with a stunning view and great powder snow.

Maiko Area
14 courses for both the beginners to experts. Also, there is Kids land for small kids. There are half-pipe and jumps.
The longest course is 1370m long and 29 degrees.
The hardest course is 170m long and 32 degrees.
The easiest course is 930m long and 10 degrees.

Nagamine Area
5 coures for beginners and Intermediate persons. It has a 6km long in total with a great view.
The longest course is 5km long and 9 degrees.
The hardest course is 1km long and 32 degrees.
The easiest course is 700m and 5 degrees.

Okusoechi Area
8 courses for the intermediate and expert persons. It has a great panorama view and power snow.There are jump and mogul on this area.
The longest course is 1km long and 10 degrees.
The hardest course is 410m long and 28 degrees.
The easiest course is 400m long and 9 degrees.
