The ruins of Kobotoke Sekisho (小仏関所) is located in Hachioji, Tokyo. It is a ruins of the gate of Kosyu Road. This place was very important to connect Kai and Sagami during Sengoku period. It is registered as a national historical site and chosen as 88 views of Hachioji. It is also one of Takao Baigo spots. There are plum trees that bloom in the middle March.

There is no restroom or parking.

0. at Hachioji Station.
1. use JR Chuo Line to Takao Station.
2. walk west (20 min.)

The ruins of Kobotoke Sekisho

Takao Baigo is a popular Ume, Japanese plum, spot located in Hachioji, Tokyo. There is 4 plum forests 10,000 plum trees. Plumes are planted on the side of Kosyu Road. Around the middle of March, white and red beautiful flowers bloom with nice smell. Many people visit here in the season to enjoy arrival of Spring. The entire sites are about 4.5km long, so it offers great hiking for all generation.

There is a open space for Hanami Party. It has also nice Sakura, as well.
