Izu Tsukigase Bairin (伊豆月ヶ瀬梅林) is a plum forest located in Izu peninsula, Shizuoka Prefecture. There are 4 different kinds 2500 plum trees that bring the arrival of the spring in February. The plum blooms from the early February to the early March. During the blooming season, there is a Wadaiko Drum ceremony on the weekend.

There are parking and restroom.
Admission: 300 yen for adult, 100 yen for kids.
Time: 9:00 to 15:00
Season: Feb. 19 to Mar.
Drum festival is happening on the Sundays of late Feb.

Izu Tsukigase Bairin
Izu Tsukigase Plum Forest is one of the largest plum spots located in Izu city, Shizuoka Prefecture. There are 2500 plums trees that bloom in the Februrary. This plum forest is located on the side of mountain that has a great view of Amagi Mountains. It will be so beautiful with the scenery with full blooming plums.

You can also enjoy plum picking in June as well.
