Omori Castle was constructed in the middle of 16th century. It is located on the top of the hill which is 143m high. It was ruled by Date clan and it was abandoned around 1664.
Omorishiroyama Park(大森城山公園) is one of the best Sakura spots in Fukushima. It was used to be the hilltop Castle of Date Masamune. Today, it has about 700 Sakura Trees in this ruins of the castle.
