Use Kanetsu Express Way. Exit at Nagaoka.
Nagaoka(長岡) is middle of Niigata prefecture. North side of Nagaoka is faceing to Sea of Japan. It is also called Chuetsu. It is one of the heavy snow region in Japan. Therefore, there are many ski and snowboading resort in this area. It has also many great mountains and nature.
Uonuma that is located southern Chuetsu produce the best rice brand in Japan. Therefore, they also great Sake as well.
