Akutsu Hachiman Shrine (安久津八幡神社) is located in Takahata, Yamagata Prefecture. It was established in 860 by Minamoto no Yoshiie. He prayed for his victory in Tohoku.

Akutsu Hachiman Shrine is one of the old shrine located in Yamagata. It was established in 860 by Priest Jigaku or Minamoto no Yoshiie. It has a beautiful 3 stories pagoda and shrines. The Kaguraden was constructed in 15th century.

Constarcuted in 1797. It has very beautiful carving arts which is very rare design for a pagoda in Japan.
