Mt. Bandai(磐梯山) is one of 100 best Japanese mountains located in Fukushima. It is an active volcano located north side of Lake Inawashiro. Mt. Bandai is one of the most popular mountain in Tohoku region. The trekking takes about 4 hours in total. The top of Mt. Bandai is 1,816m high from the sea level. It has a great view of Lk. Inawashiro, Aizu Basin and Ura Bandai.
