Exciting Tour of Blue Cave

The Boat Riding for Blue Cave (青の洞窟ボート乗り) is one of the popular activities at Jodogahama Beach Miyako city, Iwate prefecture. It is about 15 min. ride that you can travel to the beautiful blue cave where you can only approach by the boat. On the way to the cave, the boat will travel several tourist spots and you can feed black-tailed gull.

There are parking and restroom.
Admission: 1500yen
Time: 8:30 to 17:00
Season: March to November
Close when the height of the wave and too high.
Takes about 15 min.

Access
0. at Kamaishi Station.
1. use JR Yamada Line to Miyako Station.
2. use local bus to Oku Jodogahamamae.
