Inatori (稲取) was one of the major stone mining for building Edo Castle. There are many stones left over in this town. At the mountain, there are many ruins which tells you have the Stones were cut and prepared to carry over the castle. Now, people use those stones to built their own Stone walls. In October, there is festival to pull the stone in traditional way.

Many spots where you can see the stones are in the private properties. Please keep in the great manner.

Ishibiki (御石曳き) Festival is held in October.There are some stones which has the marking of which Daimyo offered to Edo Castle. Each Daimyo had to carry the certain amount of stones which depend on the size of their land.
