The stone Buddha Statues are made by Priest Eben and Eso in 6th century. They built 30 statues in this cave. Priest Kukai visited this cave and also built Stone Statues.
Today, there are about 20 statues still remains in this cave.
Uryu Rakan Stone Statues (瓜生羅漢石仏) are made in the time of emperor Kinmei, early 6th century. There are about 20 statues. Priest Kukai also made ones in here.
