Tsujido Beach (辻堂海岸) is one of the most popular beach, especially for surfing, near by Tokyo. It is located in Shonan Beach, Fujisawa city, Kanagawa. From the Tsujido Station to the beach, there are many surf shops called "Surf Street." You can buy everything what you need for surfing.

旅游详情介绍 Tsujido Beach
It was used to be the training place for gunpowder unit since 1728. After the Meiji Restoration, Japanese Navy build the training area for cannons. Now, it is just peaceful beach.
The wave of Tsujido Beach is very low at most of the times. So, it is very good for the beginners. Water is warm, too. When Typhoon appears, the waves become very high.
