Meotoiwa, the marriage rocks is two rocks rokated in Futamigaura of Ise. Legend said, when Amaterasu Omikami and other gods arrived at Ise, they use these rocks as torii gate. It is very famous worshipping place for sunrise. From May to July, the sun rise between these rocks.

The Marriage rocks of Ise is known as the rocks of the sunrising. The male rock is 9m tall and the female rock is 4m tall. The rope that connects them are about 35m long and the distance between the rocks is about 9m.
Legend said, beyond the rope is the world of gods, and infront of the rope is the life worlds. It is also the torii gate for all gods.
