Takeisao Shrine (建勲神社), enshrines Oda Nobunaga, is located in Tendo, Yamagata. Original Shrine was built in the house of Oda Nobutoshi, the descendant of Nobunaga in Tokyo, and in 1870, it was moved to Tendo, the land of Oda clan. The famous Human Shogi Festival is held under this shrine.

If you are a big fan of Oda Nobunaga, this is the shrine to visit.

Oda Nobukazu, who is the descendant of Oda Nobunaga, was moved Tendo and established Oda Tendo clan in 1830. He bought many Oda family items with him in Tendo. The graves of Oda clan are in Tendo as well.

In April, there is Human Shogi Festival under Takeisao Shrine.
Sometimes it is also called Kenkun Shrine. There is Tsutsuji park in the shrine.
