Built in: 1590 by Ikuma Masachika.
This castle is one of the three major water floating castle. The moats of this castle was drawn from the sea water. Some of the moats are used as ports where battleships can stay. This design of water floating castle was the first approach in the Japanese castle. The structure was designed by Kuroda Josui.
Hiun-kaku is Japanese house which can be use for private purpose.
Kitanomaru is reconstructed as a garden.
