Oya Museum(大谷資料館) is the ruing of the Oya Stone Mining( 大谷採石場). There is about 20,000 mx2 wide of the space under the ground. There are many event and concerts held inside of the mining.

The stones of Oya Stone Mining was already popular in year 741.
The stone tower of Kokubunji Temple was built by Oya Stone. In year 810, Oya Kannon was created on the cliff of the Oya Stone. In Showa period, it produced over 800,000 tons of stones per year. There are over 30 stone mining are still digging around the Oya, and the Oya Stone Mining is now for open as the park and event hole.
