Nagatoro Valley (長瀞渓谷） is located Nagatoro, Saitama. It is upper part of Ara River. Nagatoro is very popular for downstreaming and Iwadatami. Iwadatami, chosen as the special important natural monument of Japan, is rock floor shaped by Metamorphic rock, and there many waterfalls run into the Ara River. In Autumn, you can enjoy unique rocks, waterfalls, rivers and beautiful autumn leaves at the same time. Also, many people visit here to enjoy downstreaming, rafting, and canoe.
