Mt. Chausu (茶臼岳) is one of the popular mountain located in Northern Tochigi Prefecture. It is one of Five Mountains of Mt. Nasu. It is an active volcano that smoke is coming from the ground. The hight of the mountain is 1,915m from the sea level.

Because it has a ropeway, the trekking to the top of Mt. Chausu is very easy. Therefore, it is very popular hiking spot in Kanto.
