The lotus pond of Yakushi pond (薬師池蓮田) is famous for Oga lotus. Oga Lotus is also known as Ancient Lotus because the seed was discovered form the soil which was 2000 years old. From the beginning of July to the middle of August you can enjoy beautiful lotus flowers.
