Farmer's house of Tango

Nagashima House (旧永島家住宅) is one of the traditional houses located in Miyatsu, Kyoto Prefecture. This house was constructed in 1840 and has many features of farmer's house of this region. It is located nearby Tango Local History Museum and you have to pay admission at that museum.

There are parking and restroom.
Admission: 200 yen for adult, 50 yen for under junior.
Time: 9:00 to 16:30
Close: Monday (closed next day when Monday is a holiday)

Nagashima House is a traditonal house located in Miyatsu, Kyoto Prefecture. It was constructed in 1840. Nagashima family was the mayor of this area. Therefore, it has a great feature of expensive houses in this reagion. There are 4 rooms and earth floor for kitchen. The roof is thatched roof which is very common around this period.
