Detailed Travel Guide for Koyo at Koishikawa Korakuen

Koishikawa Korakuen Garden is Japanese style garden in Tokyo and the one of the special place of scenery, and also the special historic places of Japan. The garden is located right next to Tokyo Dome, but it was built much earlier than Tokyo Dome. It was originally built in 1629 by Mitsukuni Tokugawa. Korakuen is the oldest of all the gardens in Tokyo and it is a typical stroll-graden built in early days of the Tokugawa Era. In the central part of Korakuen, there is a placid lakelet with winding walks running around, stone lanterns, trees and arched bridges arranged skillfully in harmony with their surroundings.
