Otaki Falls (大滝) is located Kiyosato, Hokuto, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is 16m tall, 3.5m wide waterfalls. It is popular matchmaking spot in Yatsugatake area.

Detailed Travel Guide for Kiyosato Otaki Falls
Legend says at the era of Emperor Koken (749 to 758), the horses of Kai (Yamanashi) were considered as the best horse. One day Young Chief Farmer Hodaka was delivering those horses to the emperor, and saw young lady at Kiyosato. They had a first date at this waterfalls and later they got married. After this story, this waterfalls is known as the matchmaking waterfalls.
