Katsuyama Preserved Scenery (勝山 古い町並み保存地区) is the street with many Edo Style Houses. This historical site of Katsuyama is the first registered scenery to preserved the Edo style look in Okayama Prefecture. It offers great Edo walking. This street was used to be a part of Izumo Road. This street is also popular for its Noren. All the shops has their unique Noren.

1. walk north (10 min.)

Access to Maniwa Area

Terminal Station: Chugoku Katsuyama Station.
Access from Okayama:
By car, use Okayama Expressway to Chugoku Expressway, to Mimasaka Ochiai. drive north.
By Train, use JR Tsuyama Line to Tsuyama, use JR Himeshin Line to Chugoku Katsuyama.
