The home land of Oga Lotus (古代蓮の里) is a famous Lotus spot in Saitama. It has over 42 kinds 120,000 lotus in this park. The main feature of this park is Oga Lotus, aka Ancient Lotus. It was oldest flower in the world resurrected from 2000 years ago. From the end of June to the beginning of August, lotus will bloom a beautiful flowers.

Omiya and Saitama city is the one of the biggest cities in Kanto Region. Many people who works at Tokyo live in this area. Saitama Arena in Omiya is one of the biggest stage which holds many music, K-1 and all kinds of entertainment show. Kawagoe which is located in the center of Saitama Prefecture has great Edo style view of Town. It is also called Kurazukuri.

Parking ticket gives you the discount for observatory. There is a shop which sales local products such as vegetables and fruits. Also, you can by a baby plant of lotus.
There are also Robai flowers and Plum flowers in this park.
Note: Lotus bloom in early morning and close back by noon. Visit this park early in the morning to enjoy the flowers.
