  Flower Park

Hitsujiyama Park (羊山公園, Hitsujiyamakouen) has the hill of Siba-Sakura. This hill is covered various kinds of Siba-Sakura, and those colors form unique textures which represent Japanese festival. Many people bring their own lunch and enjoy pick-nick here in flowers.

Hitsujiyama park is the flower hill covered by Phlox Subulata L, called Shiba Sakura in Japanese. Because the shape of the flower is look like Cherry blossom, it called grass sakura. There are 8 kinds of colors, every year they create the unique texture.
Fee:300 yen for adult.

SibaSakura in the Hitsujiyama park

Hitsujiyama park is also know as "Hill of Shibazakura (moss pink). More than 400 thousand Shibazakura are planted and from the end of April to beginning of May, they blossom and entire hill is covered various colors.
The hill has a great design with the different concept every year.
Hitsuji is sheep in Japanese. There is Sheep ranch in this park. Also, museum, tennis coats, base ball field, and great pond in this park.
