Hirata House (旧平田家住宅) is one of the great traditionao houses located Hokuto, Yamanashi prefecture. This house was construced in late 17 century and remains the main feature of the lifestyle of that period. It is registered as national important caltural assets.

Closed on Monday, when monday is holiday, next day will be closed. In winter, it will be open only weekend and Wedensday.
The admission: 200 yen for adult, and 100 yen for kids.

Old Hirata House is one of the great remainning traditional houses located in Hokuto, Yamanashi prefecture. It was constructed in late 17th century and removed here. The size of this house is about 20m wide and 10m deep. There are 5 rooms and large earth floor and stables. Hirata family was used to be the judge of the domain. There are many features of that period in this house.
