Gero Onsen is one of the most famous Onsen in Japan. It is located middle eastern Gifu Prefecture. It was considered as top three Onsen during Muromachi period. Famous priest of Kyoto recommended Gero, Kusatsu and Arima were the best Onsen in Japan. Today, Gero Onsen is still one of the most popular Onsen and many tourist visit and enjoy Onsen. Gero is located in the valley, therefore it offers great nature and nostalgic view of Japan. There are many Onsen hotels, public Onsen and free foot Onsen.
