Amefuri Falls (雨降りの滝) is one of four great waterfalls of Higashiyama Onsen. It is 10m tall, 16m wide, and there are 36 steps in this falls. Amefuri literary means raining. Because those many small steps look like raining, people name it raining falls.

There is a parking.

Access
0. at Aizuwakamatsu Station.
1. use local bus to Higashiyama Onsen.
2. walk south (20min.)

Access to Aizu Area

Terninal Station: Aizu-Wakamatsu Station.
Access from Tokyo:
By Car - Use Tohoku Express way to Ban-etsu express way, to Aizu-Wakamatsu.
By Train - Use JR Shinkansen to Koriyama. Use JR Ban-etsu west Line to Aizu-Wakamatsu.
