Kamakura Temples

If you want to see the historical buildings and temples, Kamakura is the best spot near by Tokyo. Kamakura was once the capital of Japan, and it was the fist government opened by Shogun. All the sprits and mind of "Samurai" were born and expanded from this Old City. Those Samurai Spirits are deeply related with Temples and Buddhism. There are many temples still keep the original shape and precept since the period when the Samura Spirits was born. Kamakura temples are the real witness of the long and rich history especially with Samurai. Kamakura is not the city where has many temples , it is where the real Samurai Spirits exist in those temples.

Kamakura adalah sebuah kota tua bersejarah tempat para samurai yang ada di Perfektur Kanagawa. Kota ini dibuka sebagai pusat pemerintahan bakufu oleh Minamoto no Yoritomo yang sampai saat ini pun masih mempertahankan kuil-kuil kuno bersejarahnya sehingga menjadi satu tempat pariwisata paling besar di Kanagawa ken. Kota yang merupakan tempat kelahiran masyarakat sosial Samurai ini menjadi pusat pemerintahan dari abad ke-12 sampai pertengahan abad ke-14. Diawali dengan sebuah kantor pemerintahan Tsuruoka Hachimangu, masih banyak lagi tempat ternama bersejarah lainnya di Kanagawa ken seperti jalan lintas gunung, kuil-kuil Buddha yang indah seperti Hase Kannnon, patung Buddha besar Kamakura Daibutsu dan kuil Enkakuji yang menjadi kekayaan nasional Jepang.
