Takigashira Marsh (たきがしら湿原) is one of the nature spot in Niigata Prefecture. There are many seasonable flowers, birds and insects live in this marsh. Each seasons has a different scenic beauty. There are strolling road that you can walk over the marsh. You can enjoy beautiful nature. The best season to visit here will be May to November.

Takigashira Marsh is an artificial marsh built on the abandoned rice field. It is very unique in Japan. There are many flowers, marsh plants, birds and insects. About 70 kinds of marsh plants are inhabiting here and shows many different aspects of beatiful nature.

There is a building with resting place and observatory.
