Niekawa Sekisho (贄川関所) is one of check points located on Nakasendo Niekawa-Juku. Niekawa-juku is the entrance of Kiso Road on Edo Side. It is a restored building of Sekisho. The building shows the old time of Sekisho and displays the historical stuff.

Niekawa is one of post towns of Kiso Nakasendo Road. It was very important road that connecting Edo and Kyoto. Sekisho is the checking point to check the travelers.
This house is restored as it was used to be. It also displays the many relics found in Niekawa.
