Myogyoji Temple

Myogyoji Temple (妙行寺) is one of Nichiren Buddhism Temple in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. It is located the birthplace of Kato Kiyomasa. In 1610, when Kiyomasa was constructing Nagoya Castle, he removed this temple to his birthplace. There is the statue of Kato Kiyomasan and pure land garden.

There is no parking or restroom.

1. use Subway Higashiyama Line to Nakamura Nisseki Station.
2. walk west.

Myogyoji Temple

Myogyoji is Nichiren BUddhism Temple located in Nagoya. The exact date of the establishment is not known but it has a record appeared in 1294. Kato Kiyomasa, the famous Sengoku Hero, removed to current location where the birthplace of himself. He used the materials from Nagoya Castles to construct this temple.

There is Kato Kiyomasa's Statue and beautiful Pure Land Garden.
