Park with Many Kofun

Kurefushi no Sato Kofun Park (くれふしの里古墳公園) is historic sites of Ibaraki Prefecture. There are 8 different Kofuns, Japanese Mausoleum, in this park. One of the Kofun is fully restored. There is also 17.3m tall Haniwa Tower.

There is parking and restroom.

0. at Mito Station.
1. use JR Joban Line to Uchihara Station.

Kurefushi no Sato Kofun Park is located Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture. Kurefushi has one of the large group of Kofun, Japanese Mausoleum that are constructed from 4th to 6th century. There are 17 Kofun in this area and 8 of them are located in this park.

-Ushibushi Kofun No.4-
Constructed in late 6th century. It is 72m long, width 53m and 6.8m tall front square back circle Kofun.

-Hanimaru Tower-
17.3m tall Haniwa Tower.
