Koiwai House (小岩井家住宅) is one of the traditional houses in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture. It is located in Hongo Fujiyama Park. There are main house, gate and storage remaining in this park. This house was constructed in the middle of 19th century. This house has also small Japanese garden. Koiwai was strong land owner of Yokohama, therefore 9 rooms including earth ground kitchen and storage. It displays the local life tools and livingwares of old time in Japan.

Koiwai House is one of the traditional houses Sakae Ward, Yokohama. It is located in Hongo Fujiyama Park. There are traditional houses zone in this park. This park has a great view of old time mountain in Yokohama and great view of Mt. Fuji.
Unlike other traditional house, this house has a great gate of Samura House.
From Feb. to Mar., the beautiful Hina Dolls will be displayed.
