Jomon Sugi is the main attraction of Yakushima Island. It is the largest cedar tree in Japan. Also, the most famous Yakusugi in Yakushima. It is 7200 years old Cedar trees. It is 25.3m tall and 16.4m round.
Jomon Sugi is designated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site and Special Natural Monument of Japan.
To preserve the tree, there is an observatory for Jomon Sugi.
