Zojoji is Pure Land Buddhism Temple located in Tokyo. It is one of 7 Main Temple of Pure Land Buddhism. It was established in 1339. It became the temple of Tokugawa Shogun. Most of Tokugawa Shogun are rested in this temple. Sangedatsumon Gate was constructed in 1622. It is one of only a few historical building that survived through the WWII. Nitenmon Gate is also one of surviving gate.
