Oyunohara Torii Lit-up (大斎原鳥居ライトアップ) happens at the New-Year Eve to January 7. The Torii gate is the largest Torii gate in the world. About 34m tall giant gate will be lit with mysterious lights.

The ruins of Kumano Nimasu Shrine, current Kumano Hongu Shrine, was located on a sandbank surrounded by Kumano RIver, Iwata River and Otonashi River. In 1889, most of the building had lost, but the main shrines survived and moved to current location.
