Mt. Tenran is one of great hiking spot located in Hanno, Saitama. It has great Koyo spot in Saitama. The top of Mt. Tenran is 194.6m high. It has beautiful Koyo during the middle to the end of November.

There are parking and restroom at Hanno Craft Museum.

0. at Kawagoe Station.
1. use JR Kawagoe Line to Komagawa.

It was used to be called Mt.Atago. In Edo period, the mother of Shogun Tokugawa Tsunayoshi donated 16 rakan statue. After that, this mountain was called Mt.Rakan. Top of the mountain has many unique rocks and pine trees that presents the view of Japanese garden. You can see Mt. Fuji and other mountains at the observatory.
At the entrance of Mt. Tenran has a beautiful Koyo.
