Kofun of Emperor Kinmei is also called Hinokuma-no-sakaai-nomisasagi. Kofun is 140m long in total, with a rounded part 72m in diameter and a square section 107m square. The earthen mound has three tiers with a surrounding dry moat.
Emperor Kinmei is the 29th Emperor of Japan. In the period of Emperor Kinmu, the Buddhism had been introduced in Japan. In Nihonshoki, Emperor Kinmei passed away in 571.
