Sanbon Falls (三本滝) is one of 100 best Japanese waterfalls located in Mt. Norikura, Nagano Pref. Sanbon literary means three. Because there are three different waterfalls at one spot, they are called Sanbon Falls. All of them are about 50m to 60m high. Right-side waterfall is called Kuroisawa Falls. The water slide on the huge black lava. The center falls is called Honsawa Falls because it is located on the Kooono River. It is straight-fall waterfalls. Left falls is Mumei falls. Mumei literary means unnamed because the river is unnamed. These falls are designated as the landscape of Nagano prefecture. It has the great panorama view surrounded by 3 great waterfalls.

There is a parking and restroom.
In winter, the waterfalls are frozen up, but it required the heavy winter climbing equipments.
