Atera Valley (阿寺渓谷) is located in Southern Kiso, Nagano Prefecture. It is well known as a pure green river. The valley is about 6.3km long, and there are many beautiful waterfalls. It is very easy access valley because the road is accessible by car all the way up to the end. So, it offers easy hiking with normal shoes. In Fall, it has great Koyo, the Autumn leaves.
