旅遊詳情介紹

Inaba House
Inaba was a family of "machidoshiyori," one of the headman of town officials, at Ome post-town area in Edo period, and a leading wealthy merchant. Inaba's residence has a mud-walled tow-storied main house, gate and row house along Ome Road. On the eastern behind of the main house, a well is situated, and a mud-walled goddown is on the northan behind. The front part of the main house, having frontage of 10m and depth of 13m, was used for a shop, and the behind was used for daily living. The shop part has front earthen floor extending wide frontage to the maximum. Its ground floor has wing walls stretched on both sides that are used for storage of fire doors, and its second floor is structured with raking beam type protected by earthen walls. Since the slope beam is with lower eaves, it is regarded to be an archtecture in the later phase of Edo period. It is known that the storehouse was constructed in around 1886, and the row house, the gate and the well house are the later architectures.
