Tochimoto Sekisho is one of the important checkpoint located between Kosyu Road and Nakasendo Road. The job of each checkpoint was monitoring illegally imported guns to Tokyo, and escaping women from Tokyo. Tochimoto checkpoint was placed in 1614 and the current building was constructed in the middle of 19th century.
