Nippara Cave (日原鍾乳洞) is one of the most famous tourist spot in Nippara. It is chosen as one of the best caves in Japan by Stalactite Grottos of Japan. The inside temperature is 11 degree c for all year, so many people visit here during the summer.
Tourist Info.
Admission: 600 yen for adult, 400 yen for junior high, 300 for kids.
Open: 8:00 to 17:00. From Dec 1 to March 31, 8:30 to 16:30 There is a parking.
Access
0. at Okutama Station
1. use local bus #1 to Shonyudomae (30 min.)
2. walk north (5 min.)

2. on weekend the bus stops at HIgashi Nippara, then walk north (30 min.)
