Aizu Sazaedo

Aizu Sazaedo (会津さざえ堂) is one of the historic site located in Aizu, Fukushima Prefecture. It is a temple constructed in 1796. The temple is about 16.5m tall hexagon tower and in the tower there are 33 Kannon Statue. So, people can worship all of them in one trip trough the temple. The structure of this temple is very unique. There are two stairs in this tower and they never cross each others. It is registered as the national important cultural asset.

Admission: 400 yen for adult, 300 yen for Collage and high school students and 200 yen for kids.
Time: 9:00 to 16:00

Aizu Sazaedo

Aizu Sazaedo temple is a unique two spiral stairs. Sazaedo is located on Mt. Iimori. The real name is Entsusansoudou, and registered as the national important cultural asset. It was constructed in 1796. There were used to be 33 Kannon Statues in this temple, but they were removed after Meiji Restoration.
