Yoshino Baigo

Yoshino Baigo (吉野梅郷, yoshinobaigo) is one of the most famous Ume (Plum Flower) spot. There are 25,000 Plum Trees in this town. In the period of plum blossom, many events, such as a parade, live music, local ceremony, Nou dance show, will be hold. Ume is planted all over in this town. There is a park called Ume park which has 2,500 Ume trees. You can enjoy White plum, Red plum, Pink plum, and all kinds of Ume trees in this town.

Ume Park, the one of the main Ume spot in this town, has 2,500 verious kinds of Ume trees. Between the end of Feburary to the end of March, it will charge 100 yen for enterence.

Yoshino BaigoYoshinobaigo is the one of the major spot for ume apricot flower (Japanese Plum). Ume blossoms usually early March, but because this area is little high elevation compare to Tokyo, it blossoms little late than the other Ume spots.
In this town, there are about 25,000 Ume are planted. Ume park which is located in the center of Yoshinobigo has 120 kinds, 1,500 ume are planted. The park will be covered with colorful Ume which are white, red, pink, yellow and other colors.
Around the blossom season, there are many events and festival held along with Ume.
