Lake Tanuki

Lake Tanuki (田貫湖, tanukiko) is in Shizuoka prefecture, located west side of Mt. Fuji. From Take Tanuki you will get a great view of Mt. Fuji. Between April 20th and August 20th, Sun rises at the top of Mt. Fuji from the view of Lake Tanuki. This phenomenon is called “Diamond Head”, and Many photographer visit Late Tanuki to take a great Diamond Head.” Also, there are camping space, and people joy fishing, boat-riding, and cycling.

Lake Tanuki is the artificial lake in Shizuoka prefecture, located west side of Mt. Fuji. From Take Tanuki you will get a great view of Mt. Fuji. Green tea of this area is considered as a one of the best Japanese green tea. This area is the only spot where you will have great view of Mt. Fuji and sea at the same time.
